Everything that you are carrying. Everything that fills your heart and your mind. If it takes up space in your life it’s probably something you should bring to God. For a long time I struggled with bringing things to God, even now, I find that I try to hold on to things that bother or worry me because they aren’t ‘big ticket items’. They are small things and God’s got better things to do than worry about my petty issues. But nothing could be further from the truth. If it is something that you are holding, it’s worth bringing to God, not matter how small or trivial you may think it is. God wants ALL your cares. Not some, but every last one. There isn’t anything that would cause Him look at you and say ‘that you carry alone. I’m not helping you with that.’ He wants it all. Because He cares for YOU. It’s a reminder that you have a Father who not only can shoulder all your burdens, but who wants to shoulder them. He doesn’t need your help, He is strong enough to carry them all so that you can just rest in the freedom of His love for you.
