Psalm 91:2

“I will say of the Lord: He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.”

What Are You Saying?

People speak a lot. I looked up the stats and found that the average person speaks between 7,000 to 17,000 words per day. That’s a lot of words! We have a lot to say don’t we? Think about that for a moment - 7,000 to 17,000 words that we are speaking over ourselves, over situations, and over other people. Proverbs 18:21 says “The tongue has the power of life and death…”,so all the words that we speak every minute of every day is declaring either life over/into something or death.
So what are we saying? More specifically what are we saying about God? Does how we view and speak of God encourage our hearts and increase our faith or does it create paths of doubt and wavering?

God is
Our healer
Our strength.
Our strong tower
Our hope
Our peace
Our provider

He is ALL that we need! Let the words that we speak over ourselves, over our situations and over the lives of others be words that speak the truth of who God is and not just a reflection of how we feel in the moment. How we feel about anything changes frequently but God does not change and the truth of who He is is constant!
